The girls from work decorated my locker with pregnancy stuff! It is sooo cute and thoughtful!
We are a little over 18 weeks pregnant... and I am starting to show more and more! We have the baby furniture out of the garage and upstairs.. but are still waiting to empty the furniture from the room that will become the baby's room. Slowly but surely we are getting ready to have this baby!
Here's a picture from Valentine's Day:
Within the past week, I have begun to feel the baby move. At first, I knew I was feeling something, but wasn't positive it was the baby.. but now I know for sure. I feel him the most when I am sitting at a desk at work and right after dinner at night. It is such an awesome feeling! The other night, Paul and I were watching a movie and the little waffle was going crazy! I had Paul put his hand on my stomach to see if he could feel what I was feeling.. he said he did! There will be plenty more where that came from!
We had another doctor's appointment last week.. and we are still having a boy! This was supposed to be the appointment where we find out the sex of the baby. But since, we found out at 13 weeks when we went for the genetic screening test, this was just a confirmation appointment :)The doctor said he is measuring at about 1 week ahead of our expected due date. I hope he slows down a little bit!
This past weekend we had a 7th birthday celebration for Paul. Since his birthday is on leap day, he only has an actual birthday once every 4 years. So, we decided to celebrate this one by having a party at our house. We had a lot of people show up.. guests from Houston and Dallas.. and several of our friends from Austin. Paul had a great time.. all he wanted for his birthday was a 6 foot hero (for those of you southerners on here.. that is a 6 foot party sub sandwich). The closest thing we could find was 3 two foot sandwiches. But they were good :)
Here's a picture from the party (thanks Brie):
The people in the picture at the top, with Paul and I, are people we play indoor soccer with. And the lower right picture is my niece, Camden, helping Paul blow out his 28 birthday candles! I made the cake from a recipe on Pinterest. There are Kit Kats lining the outer edge of the cake with M&Ms on top. With a chocolate cake underneath, it was a chocolate overload!
It was so nice to see how many people came out to show their love for Paul on his birthday! Paul and I didn't realize we had so many friends in Austin already (and not everyone was able to make it). It was pretty awesome to see them all in the same place!
Sorry for jumping all over the place, and for the long post.. I will try not to wait so long to post again!
